Integrated People Solutions to Partner with Junior Achievement for Kennedy Cares Day

IPS to partner with Junior Achievement Rocky Mountains to prepare kids for the working world.

Denver, Colorado, November 2018Helping people to grow and step up in their careers is what drives the partners of Kennedy Executive. Not everybody has access to the right tools to grow or means to even take the first step on any corporate ladder. In light of this, the Kennedy Network is making the 30th, Kennedy Cares Days, an opportunity for partners in the network to give back to their communities and use our expertise to inform others.  Most of the global offices of the network have set aside this date, November 30th, to help people around the globe by sharing knowledge, experience or their networks. The education themed day, Kennedy Cares Day, takes place in South Africa, various European countries and ends in Golden, Colorado. Integrated People Solutions, (IPS), is the Golden Colorado based partner of this global network of privately owned executive search boutiques.

In Colorado, Integrated People Solutions (IPS) is partnering with Junior Achievement Colorado to volunteer at a middle school for an entire day.  On Kennedy Cares Day, November 30th, eight IPS employees will volunteer in 4 classrooms and teach practical curriculum that will prepare kids for the working world. The curriculum will cover how to establish a personal brand, explore possible career paths and high growth careers as well as career mapping and how to look for a job.

Chip Bowen, Service Excellence at Integrated People Solutions: “As a network we benefit from sharing knowledge, best practices and connections. With this, we create global value for our clients without losing local relevance. We all felt that we should put this to use to help not just our clients, but others too. That’s how we came up with Kennedy Cares Day. By organizing this on a single day each year, we create a bit of global impact, around the clock, however small it may be. We look forward to helping these kids and hope to be able to make a change.”

The event in Colorado is one of many other activities around the globe. One of the participating locations is South Africa, home of Evolve/Kennedy Johannesburg.  They organize a career day for underprivileged students of the Diakona’s district high schools. In bordering Zimbabwe, the Norwegian charity Sabona helps the local, often impoverished, population to set up educational projects on both primary and University level. Human Assets Consulting/Kennedy Executive Oslopartnered with Sabona and hosts a fundraiser on Kennedy Cares Day to benefit the charity’s activities further.

In Czech Republic, Delta Advisory/Kennedy Praguejoins a local NGO helping children in orphanages and disadvantaged backgrounds to prepare for the future. With individual coaching and company visits they will help choose the right curriculum and career path. The team of VIR HR/Kennedy Executive Milanwill be guest lecturers at a High School in the Italian Alps to help students on the way to their careers. During the classes they host, they will teach them how to write resume’s and how to prepare for job interviews.

Further North, in Denmark, partner office DNA Headhunting/Kennedy Executive Copenhagenis announcing their ongoing support to Danske Hospitalklovne (Danish Hospital Clowns). They do so by monetizing the free consults they often squeeze into their schedules. Candidates or others approaching them for a ‘quick coffee’ or ‘chat about their career’ will now be charged €40. This will be fully donated to the Danish charity to support them in putting a smile of the face of hospitalized children. At the same time, they can offer a more structured session to those with career or work related questions to help them progress. A win-win for everybody.

In Budapest, Ikelosz / Kennedy Executive Budapest, teams up with the Hungarian chapter of the European Youth Association at Corvinus University. The team of Ikelosz will offer economics students a day about trends in the labour market and requirements in employees. Beyond this, Ikelosz will have face to face career consulting sessions of 30 minutes each, for students who want to discuss their career choices and future.

Amsterdam, partner office Lens/Kennedy Executive Search Amsterdam hosts a full day around hiring immigrants and refugees. There are panel discussions with people from business and government and a network event around legalities, degree valuations and preparing for interviews. Start-ups need help, even in glitzy Monaco, where Frisenberg J. Associates/Kennedy Executive Monaco, teams up with MonacoTech, The University of Monaco’s incubator for entrepreneurs. Caroline Frisenberg will host a workshop for starting companies and their employees to assist them in their online branding. Helping these companies grow will ultimately result in new jobs and opportunities for others.
