Such leaders are often focused on harnessing their skills and resources to make things better for the people around them.
In the process, they create opportunities for themselves and for others to succeed.
They also don’t wait for the perfect time to take action, rather, they recognize promising opportunities and seize them.
And as YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki once said, “Rarely are opportunities presented to you in a perfect way. In a nice little box with a yellow bow on top. ‘Here, open it, it’s perfect. You’ll love it.”
Instead, she explains, “Opportunities – the good ones – are messy, confusing, and hard to recognize. They’re risky. They challenge you.”
