We live in a constantly changing world, and we’re all getting used to it.
But when it comes to remote work, some people are still skeptical.
And it’s not that they don’t think the idea of working remotely has merit—it’s just that they’re not sure if it is sustainable for their business.
An SHRM study report reveals a major disconnect in how remote workers are viewed.
According to the report, 44% of onsite workers believed remote employees work fewer hours than onsite workers, and 35% said remote employees are less productive than onsite workers.
On the other hand, the vast majority of remote workers surveyed—82%—believe that the requirement to work in an office makes no sense when work can be done remotely.
Regardless of how you feel about remote work, it’s certainly not going anywhere anytime soon.
What are your thoughts regarding the sustainability of remote work?
