Do you offer any unique benefits to your employees?
It turns out that most workers want more of the “outlandish” benefits, and employers are taking note.
A poll by HR regulatory compliance company Trusaic found that employers are getting creative with employee benefits.
Here are some quick takeaways from the survey:
– 23% of respondents said they valued perks that help them rest more effectively and sleep when they need it most, like a ‘hangover leave’ after an alcohol-fueled company outing.
– Most companies said they prioritized access to parenting coaches, work-life balance specialists, and even handyman services.
– Some employees said they would want paid leave after a breakup or free mediation sessions with a Buddhist monk.
And while some of these benefits may sound bizarre, employers are going out of their way to make them happen.
What other perks do you think workers want that they don’t have today?
